Fishing

Swakopmund and the Namibian West Coast are popular amongst anglers and fisherman.  The most commonly caught fish are Kabeljou (Cob), black tail, Steenbras, barbers (catfish) and a large variety of sharks.

Boat fishing trips are done on a daily basis and fishing takes place from near to the shore and up to 1 or more kilometer off shore depending where the best fishing are located or spotted.
