Visit the Cape Fur Seal Colony

During this half day trip we head north from Swakopmund early morning. We focus on the marine eco system and coastal Namib Desert. Along the way we visit the Zelia shipwreck, a fishing trawler and another victim claimed by the Skeleton Coast in August 2008. Well located near the beach she makes for a perfect photo opportunity.

We take a walk on a secluded beach and visit the small fishing/retirement town of Henties Bay. On route to Cape Cross we also take a short desert walk to discover more about the inland environment before we reach Cape Cross to meet the largest Cape Fur Seal Colony.
